ABOUT US

Can Saraçoğlu was born in 1974. He is a graduate of Mimar Sinan University's Academy of Fine Arts. He studied advertising, design, and film. In his early years, he produced animation and cartoon films. For many years, he worked as an instructor in the film and advertising sectors. For 30 years, he has been managing his own film company, Tukan Film. He has directed more than 250 television programs, documentaries, films, and commercials. He produces productions with tourism, culture, and sports themes. He has published 5 books and has social responsibility projects. He prepared an almanac titled "Cultural Route from Bursa to Bosnia," filmed in 8 countries in the Balkans.
He has been the president of the International Tourism Film Festival for 10 years. The festival brings together many different countries, cultures, and artists. It organizes the world's most comprehensive thematic film festival in terms of participation and capacity. During the festival, he had the opportunity to work with festival presidents, directors, producers, and bureaucrats from many countries. He has also served as a jury member and jury president in 200 film festivals in 55 countries.
Drawing on this extensive experience, in 2022 he founded Cinetour, the world's first film festival committee. The World Film Festivals Committee, Cinetour, currently has 120 member festivals from 68 countries. The committee continues to build cultural bridges between nations, working towards cultural communication, world peace, and inter-country dialogue. He was also appointed as the President of International Action Art Turkey by PIAA UNESCO in 2024.
